Originally, this blog was started as a way for me to deal with my thoughts and feelings about my husband's close female friend whom I felt threatened by. It was partially inspired by the blog Tales of a Jealous Wife, about a similar situation.

But things have changed. Now, this blog is about my husband cheating on me with his friend, what happened afterwards, and how we're going to move forward. I expect to have a lot of difficult thoughts and feelings to work through, so this blog should come in handy.

James
My husband. We have been together for six years, married for five. We met online, and I left my abusive family of origin to move across the country and be with him. Since then, I have started a successful business that allowed us to "reboot" our lives together, moving to yet another state (where James grew up, and the place he's always wanted to return to). We moved in early summer of 2013, and that's when the real problems started.

Delilah
The other woman. She and my husband also met online, about a year ago, and became close friends very quickly. In the beginning of their friendship, I never felt threatened by her. But once they started to spend time together face to face, things changed. She is several years younger than my husband, and like me, comes from an unhappy home life.

SETTINGS

Metropolis
The city where James was born, and where we moved in the summer of 2013. Delilah now lives about 45 minutes away.

Haddonfield
The much smaller city where James and I started our life together, and lived for almost six years. His family is still living there. It's about 300 miles away from Metropolis, and, by extension, from Delilah.
